By downloading or using Letterain (the "App"), you agree to these terms. The App is published by Cloud Design Studio LLC ("we", "us", "our"). If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Letterain on Apple devices you own or control, for non-commercial personal use only. You may not redistribute, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App, except where Apple's App Store terms or applicable law explicitly allow it.

2. In-app purchases

Letterain offers a one-time, non-consumable purchase called Letterain Pro for $1.99 USD (or local equivalent). The purchase is processed and managed by Apple. Pro unlocks ad-free play, color themes, unlimited friend challenges, and practice mode. The purchase is permanent on the Apple ID that bought it and is shared across iCloud Family if Family Sharing is enabled.

Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. Advertising

Free-tier players see interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you agree to be shown ads. Purchasing Pro removes all ads.

4. User content

Letterain doesn't host user-generated content. Friend-challenge URLs you generate contain only your score and a numeric game seed — no personal information. You're responsible for what you choose to share via the system share sheet and where you share it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Modify, hack, or attempt to circumvent the game's scoring, advancement, or paywall mechanisms
• Use the App to harass others via challenge links
• Interfere with the App's normal operation or our servers

6. Trademarks

"Letterain" and the Letterain logo are trademarks of Cloud Design Studio LLC. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your particular requirements. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Cloud Design Studio LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free-tier users, is $0; for Pro users, $1.99).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
